Alpha Helix began trading in February 2002, initially distributing the market leading histocompatibility testing 'Olerup SSP' products from GenoVision and also GenoVision's range of manual and automated nucleic acid extraction systems.

Since then, Alpha Helix has become established with other leading suppliers in very select market segments allowing the company to grow whilst maintaining a close relationship with its customer base.

In November 2007 Alpha Helix changed its trading name to Alpha Biotech Ltd to better reflect the range of Biotechnology products that it now distributes. All other aspects of the company have remained the same with no changes to the address, phone or fax numbers.
